If you sold a vehicle to a California resident they will need to register their vehicle within 20 days of purchase and or entry into California. Quick notes on the requirements: Smog (required for all gas-powered vehicles and some diesel units), a VIN verification, and for commercial vehicles, a weight-master certificate.
